Notice of Copyright Infringement

Your notice must include the following information, as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) (“DMCA”):

  3. Reasonably sufficient detail to identify and locate the allegedly infringing material (e.g., a link to the page on our site).
  4. A mailing address, telephone number, and email address for us to contact you.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Once we receive a proper notice, we will respond promptly and take appropriate action, including the removal of the disputed copyrighted work from our site.

Counter-Notice

If you believe a DMCA notice of copyright infringement has been improperly submitted against you, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent with the following information required by the DMCA:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake.
  4. Your name, address, email address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court or the United District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Please submit your counter-notice to the Designated Agent at the address provided above.

In the event that Let’s Make Progress receives a valid counter-notice, we will replace the removed material within 10 business days unless we receive notice of legal action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Please note that Let’s Make Progress is committed to complying with all provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act but will not unilaterally take responsibility for policing and removing material thought to be infringing
